Valentina Alea is Colombian-American actor based in NYC. whose path has been anything but ordinary. Her journey has taken her from Florida to Hawaii shaping her with diverse experiences and perspectives, all while holding onto a passion for the arts.
At 18, She took a bold turn and joined the U.S. Navy while living in North Carolina. She went to serve in San Diego and Hawaii, participating in underways and deployment on a Guided Missile Destroyer. This instilled in her discipline, resilience and a profound appreciation for human connection.
After transitioning from military life, Valentina stepped into a transformative chapter: motherhood. Raising two daughters has given her a deeper emotional insight and sense of purpose that now fuels her creative work.
Her work includes modeling, commercial projects, a background feature role in an upcoming Netflix feature film directed by Kathryn Bigelow, and a lead role in a upcoming film by Javier Nunez.
Now, Valentina is fully immersed to her lifelong passion: storytelling through acting. She currently studying at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where she continues to refine her craft and channel her lived experience authentically into every performance.
